Day 3: Te Anau – Milford Sound – Te Anau (240km)
We don’t call it a rest or ride day because we highly recommend everybody to take the ride to Milford Sound and get on one of the many cruise boats in the fjord. Enjoy the amazing Fjords from a boat, be astounded by the many waterfalls.

Ride between the sheep on the hilly NZ farmland. Visit Dunedin, a historic town with Scottish roots. End the day outside of town on again a beautiful located campground.

Day 6: Mount Cook – Christchurch (370km)
Today brings you to the glacial lake of Tekapo and on the Canterbury Plains into Christchurch.

You will start on a spectacular road along the Pacific Ocean. Kaikoura is the Whale Watching capital of New Zealand, if you like to go on a Whale Watching tour we suggest you leave early in the morning. (We might have to change this park as a result of the earthquake from November 2016)

Day 9: Kaikoura – Abel Tasman NP (290km)
A beautiful ride along the famous vineyards. By the end of the day you can relax on the beach and swim in the ocean. We will organise a small wine tasting as soon as we are on the campground. (We might have to change this park as a result of the earthquake from November 2016)

Day 10: Abel Tasman NP – Rest or Ride (0/150km)
Abel Tasman National Park is next door and we recommend you take a walk along the beautiful beaches. Other options are to visit the wineries or explore the city of Nelson.
